Contracts and Legal Documentation Review and Evaluation
Contracts are an integral part of doing business. As business owners, we sign or have other parties sign what we believe to be binding contracts of all kinds almost every day. However, a careful review of the contracts, service forms, leases, vendor provider forms, etc. can reveal that if the contracts that are being used by a business are actually legally enforceable, they are of no help or protection in a law suit or dispute of any kind.
Documents that have been created by a business owner can be reviewed and analyzed to determine whether or not the following things are being achieved by that document:
- Will the business receive what it expects from the deal that is being agreed to through the contract document?
- Are the terms and conditions listed in the contract actually enforceable?
- Do any of the terms and conditions open the business up to an unforeseen liability?
